SNOMED International's twice-annual Business Meetings are hybrid events in April and October for our governance, advisory, working, project and clinical reference groups, providing the organization and Community of Practice both in-person and online opportunities to participate. 

The next in-person conference will be held from April 12-15, 2026 at the Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere hotel in Austria, alongside some online-only sessions. It will be followed by a special 'SNOMED CT in Austria' day on April 16, 2026, led by ELGA.  View the program for 'SNOMED CT in Austria' here.

All in-person meetings will be supported with the necessary audio and video tools to support high quality online participation via Zoom. Links to join meetings online are shared on the organization's What's on this Week calendar- pre-registration is not required.

ELAG will be meeting in person and online via Zoom on Wednesday 15th April at 09.00-12:30 CEST (07:00-10:30 UTC).

E-Learning Advisory Group (ELAG)

The main purpose of the E-Learning Advisory Group (ELAG) is to facilitate delivery of E-Learning products and services that address requirements of Members and other stakeholders for development of knowledge and skills related to SNOMED CT and other SNOMED International products and services.

More information on the E-Learning Advisory Group including future meetings can be found here. A list of ELAG representatives for each country can be found here. The representatives advise on national and international priorities and activities needed to increase knowledge and skills related to SNOMED CT.

Description: This webinar will focus on the Implementation Guide for the LOINC Ontology, exploring its structure, purpose, and practical applications. The session will include a live demonstration using the SNOMED CT Browser and the related demonstrator, followed by an open Q&A.

This webinar is part of our Implementation Webinar Series designed to support both new and experienced implementers by focusing on practical, real-world implementation topics.

Each webinar:
