• Implementation Course

    • Overview

      The SNOMED CT Implementation Course equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully implement a SNOMED CT-enabled system. It covers a wide range of topics, including Introduction to Implementation, Maps, Subsets and Value Sets, Data Capture, Data Analytics, Extensions and Editions, and more.

      The course structure includes:

      • 2 introductory modules
      • 15 topic-specific modules
      • 3 learning stream skills assessments


      Learners can tailor their journey by selecting modules relevant to their needs. Completion of specific modules and assessments earns acknowledgment and certificates across three learning streams, with an overall certificate available for completing all modules and assessments.

      The course is self-paced, flexible, and takes approximately 80 hours to complete in full.
