SNOMED CT Implementation Course Guide

The course consists of:

An introductory section - Implementation Basics

To get started, we recommend completing the following introductory modules before beginning any of the three learning streams:

• Introduction to Implementation
• Content and Features

Three learning streams:

• General Implementation and Customisation
• EHR Implementation Principles
• Extension Management

The three learning streams each contain five modules, a skills assessment, and a completion certificate available upon completion.

In the course, each module tile features a colored banner at the bottom, indicating the learning stream it belongs to.

Some modules are linked by related topics. We may advise you to look at another module before or after completion of a module.  However, as described in the course options page, how you approach completing the modules depends on what your individual learning journey requires.
